2 books in January
One of my resolutions for 2005 (and also one of my 43 Things) is to read at least 1 book per month. In January, I finished No Plot? No Problem!: A Low-Stress, High-Velocity Guide to Writing a Novel in 30 Days by Chris Baty (highly recommended for folks considering NaNoWriMo), and 101 Things to do with a Slow-Cooker by Stephanie Ashcraft. I know, I know… cookbooks probably don’t count, but I did read all the recipes. For that matter, the original resolution was supposed to mean one fiction book per month. But I didn’t specify that when I wrote it down. If there’s a loophole, I’ll find it!
